McMurdo SmartFind M10 AIS Class B Transponder and SmartFind M15 AIS receiver range are capable of receiving and processing all AIS targets within 20 miles of the vessel.
Voyage data recorder
Voyage data recorder, type NW6000 series VDR is intended for use on board the seagoing ships and provides continuous and automatic recording of readings of shipborne systems and equipment concerning the status and ship's operational modes, command and control of the ship, and situation around ship.

Ship-To-Shore Communications Solution
Ship-To-Shore Communications Solution OmniCom combines global satellite coverage and 3G cellular least cost routing for reliable and cost-effective continuous ship-to-shore communications. Together with McMurdo’s integrated fleet management software, PRISMA Connect, this system enables complete control of commercial fleet operations in real time, including a robust suite of vessel tracking, two-way messaging, asset/document management and AIS display. For PRISMA Connect over-the-air updates are available anywhere in the world without taking vessels out of service.
Navtex receiver NX-700A / NX-700B
NAVTEX is an international automated warning system that is used to transmit various safety information (eg. navigational, meteorological, etc) and also acts as a component of the Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS). Complies with SOLAS-74/88 convention.

For conventional vessels, there are two types of receiver: NX-700A (with information display and printer) and NX-700B (display only).
NX-300 Navtex receiver
The NX-300 is used as a navigation repeater when connected through the NMEA0183 port to a GPS or DGPS receiver. It has a compact waterproof display and antenna (H-Field).

It features two narrowband receivers, one tuned to the 518 kHz international Navtex frequency and the other to the 490 kHz domestic or local country frequency.

Teledyne Meridian gyrocompass
Teledyne Meridian - is a modern, high-performance and compact gyrocompass, designed for a variety of vessels.

It can be used as a separate equipment, or as part of navigation system on the vessel.

It meets the IEC 60945/IMO A424 (XI)/ISO 8728 requirements.
Reflecta 2 magnetic compass
Reflecta 2 - is professional magnetic compass which can be used on different types of boats, yachtsas well as on coastal vessels.

It has good accuracy and strong temperature and dynamic characteristics.

Reflecta compass is made of a special glass reinforced plastic, allowing it to withstand adverse environmental conditions. It is resistant to shock, vibration and seawater.

M3000 Analogue Alarm Monitor
The Analogue Alarm Monitor M3000 is used to read measurements from temperature sensors TC or PT100, flow sensors, pressure sensors, etc., with the help of 4-20 mA or 0-10 V DC transmitters.

The alarm panel has 24 inputs that can be configured individually for dry contact (NO or NC) inputs or analogue inputs. Up to 48 alarms can be configured with individual reference to any of the 24 inputs.

Navigational Sounder DS2008
DS2008 is a Navigational echo sounder (200 kHz or 50 kHz) with a 10 inch LCD display. Has a highly sensitive gain control that allows you to see a clear image of echoes on the screen.

  • Depth range: 0.4m ~ 800m
  • Frequency: 200 kHz or 50 kHz
  • Channel: 1 channel or 2 channels

Marine wind display AM706C
Anemometer AM706 can measure both relative wind speed (0.1 m) and relative wind direction (1 degree).

The user can keep track of the course, direction, speed or gusts of wind by connecting the device to a GPS receiver. Consists of main unit, sensor unit and alarm unit.

Nautical Navigation Tools
The nautical navigational tools are used for calculating and compiling routes on navigational charts. The safety of navigation depends, first of all, on the availability of a precise navigational instrument and the ability to use it correctly.
Ship's Clock, Ø 150 mm
Ship's Clock with a diameter of Ø150 mm. Made in brass.
Aneroid Barometer, Ø155 mm
Aneroid barometer with a diameter of Ø155 mm. Made from polished brass.

Psychrometer/hygrometer
Wet and dry psychrometer/hygrometer is designed to measure the temperature and humidity of the air. Measuring range: from +5°C to +50°C.

Pendulum Clinometer, Ø155 mm
Pendulum clinometer with a diameter of Ø155 mm. Made from polished brass.

Sound gong
Maritime sound gong for ships - is a sound signaling device in the form of a metal plate for sound signals in case of limited visibility, fog or during an alarm signal. Provides a sound pressure of at least 110 dB at a distance of 1 m. The product is resistant to salt water or oil, as well as rot, corrosion and sunlight.
Ship's bell
The ship's bell is used to give signals in the fog when anchored, to give fire alarms (on ships of the merchant fleet).

Navigation and communication equipment

MARKO Ltd. supplies navigation and communication equipment from leading manufacturers: Yokogawa, Samyung, Jotron, Mcmurdo, Furuno, Thrane & Thrane, etc. You can choose out of the following products:
  • GMDSS equipment;
  • EPIRBs;
  • Radio beacons;
  • Voyage data recorders;
  • Automatic Identification Systems (AIS);
  • Ship-to-shore communication devices;
  • Radiolocation stations;
  • Measuring and meteorological equipment;
  • Ship loudspeaker equipment.
The importance of safe marine navigation equipment on a ship cannot be overestimated. Effective determination of coordinates, course and collision avoidance is important not only for the ship's crew, but also for the global economy, because 80% of all cargo transportation in the world is carried out by sea. Therefore, uninterrupted radio communication is of paramount importance.

In the 70s of the XX century satellites of the international system "COSPAS/ SARSAT" appeared on orbit - a space system for searching those in distress. The principle of operation of the system is in the direction finding of the emergency buoy by satellites, and then the information is transmitted to the centers of the search and rescue services.

In addition, the Global Automatic Identification System (AIS) has been implemented by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU). Such AIS systems are used on all ships that make international mandatory voyages, contributing to the safety and control of shipping worldwide.

Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) uses terrestrial and satellite communications technologies on board and ashore. In the event of an emergency situation or distress, the system transmits alerts directly to shore-based rescue services, as well as to ships close to that destination point to provide the necessary assistance.
