Buoyancy equipment

Buoyancy equipment is intended strictly for one person. Individual life-saving appliances are personal (life jackets and wetsuits) and general, which can be used by any person in case of need (lifebuoys).

Lifejackets
The number of lifejackets should not be less than the number of people on board; however, on passenger ships, the number of lifejackets is oversized and is 5% more than the total number of people on board. The number of children's life jackets (they are smaller in size and have the inscription "for children") must be equal to 10% of the number of passengers. Lifejackets allow an unconscious person to float overboard. The vests also ensure that the mouth and nose are 12 cm above the water at an angle of 20-50 °, do not injure in cases of jumping into the water from a height of 4.5 m. It is convenient to put them on, swim in them and climb on a life-saving device. Each life jacket is equipped with a search light, whistle and reflective stripes. You can buy lifejackets for adults, children and infants at our website at the most attractive prices.

What kind of life jackets are there?
Life jackets are rigid and inflatable. In inflatable lifejacket there are two separate chambers, which, when immersed in water, are inflated automatically from a can of gas, or inflated by the mouth using a special tube with a mouthpiece.

Immersion suits
Life jackets are good when you need to keep a person's body in the water, but without thermal protection, his or her swaying will entirely depend on the temperature of the sea water, which in winter time will be measured in minutes. The immersion suit is just designed to conserve human thermal energy and provide a comfortable temperature even in the most severe conditions. The immersion suit is designed for only one person per rescue boat or marine evacuation system. However, recently there has been a tendency to provide immersion suits for all members of the ship's crew. Buy an immersion suit is not be a problem. We are always ready to help you with the right choice.

Lifebuoys
In this section, you can find out additional parameters, such as lifebuoy weight, price or diameter, by choosing the lifebuoy you need from the list. The required number of lifebuoys on a ship is determined by the requirements of the SOLAS-74 Convention and the LSA Code, depending on its length and purpose. So, on passenger ships there can be from 8 to 30 lifebuoys, on cargo ships - from 8 to 14 pieces.
