D-CRm.S. - davit crane

D-CRm.S. – Slewing type davit for rescue boat and provision with hydraulic and/or electric drive. The system will perform all necessary functions i.e. hoisting/lowering, slewing left/right. After embarkation the boat will be slewed from the stowed position to the lowering position by means of hydraulic stored power. The lowering procedure is performed by gravity. Lowering and hoisting of the fully equipped rescue boat, including the crew, can be done by means of the incorporated electric motor. In case of power failure or malfunctioning of the electric system, hoisting of the rescue boat can also be done manually.
