Liferaft accessories

Our company offers a wide range of liferaft cradles, racks and other accessories that can be easily integrated into modern ship structures and installed at several locations on the vessel. Liferafts are stored in rigid fiberglass containers, which provide reliable protection of the raft from mechanical damage, harmful effects of the environment and sea water.

The rafts in containers are installed on specially made ramps, which are securely fixed to the deck. The containers are fixed to the cradle with lashings with the help of hydrostatic device. The whole structure is made in such a way that the liferafts can be easily deployed if necessary.

There are two options for release from lashing - manual and automatic.
With the manual method, the fixing link is dropped from the mousing-hook. Also, on some devices there is a special handle, by turning which the pins are pulled out, which hold the main ends of the lashing. This is usually implemented on double cradles when the rafts are stacked one behind the other. In this case, they can be dropped one by one or all together by simply turning the handle.
Automatic release takes place using a Hydrostatic release unit at a depth of no more than 4 meters.
