Foam Fire Extinguishers
Foam fire extinguishers are used to extinguish class A and B fires. Their use is possible only in warm and heated rooms, because at negative temperatures, they are ineffective. Foam fire extinguishers must not be used to extinguish electrical equipment or substances that react with water.
Foam fire extinguisher consists of a head, a body, a siphon tube, a hose and a safety device. The principle of operation is based on gas, which pushes the fire extinguisher charge outward at a distance of about 3 meters, which allows the firefighter to be at a sufficient distance from the hot spot.
