Description
Hammar H20 Hydrostatic Release Unit (Hydrostat) is designed for the most extreme weather conditions and has been used by 90% of manufacturers worldwide for 25 years. The Hammar H20 Hydrostat is activated by water pressure and automatically releases the liferaft by cutting the rope with a sharp knife in case the vessel sinks.
Hammar H20 is made of nylon reinforced glass fiber and is not prone to corrosion and temperature changes. The term of operation is 2 years. It also enables easy, quick and trouble free installation.
Conforms to SOLAS 74/96 Convention, Reg. III/4 LSA Code, MO Res. MSC. 48/(66), IMO Res. MSC. 81(70), approved by EU Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment and has a NATO stock number.
