Davit launchable liferafts
Davit launchable liferafts are designed to evacuate the crew or passengers from a ship in distress. Mostly used on passenger ships.
Requirements for liferafts
When the liferaft is fully loaded with people and equipment, it must withstand various mechanical or any other loads without consequences for the functionality of its elements (for example, a side impact from the ship's hull (with an impact force of at least 3.5 m/s) or falling into the water from height not less than 3 m.
Davit launchable liferaft must facilitate the evacuation of passengers and crew from a ship in distress within 3 minutes on each passenger vessel.
The liferaft container has the following advantages:
- Withstands difficult operational influences in harsh marine environments;

Has excellent buoyancy to be able to float on water surface, even if the ship goes down;

Waterproof except for drain holes in the bottom of the container;
