Maintenance and testing of immersion suits

The suits are checked for integrity, durability and buoyance norms as well as performance of its parts in full complients with manufacturer's requirements. Suits that have passed the tests are allowed for further maintenance. If necessary all components are replaced or the rejection of the item is being held. In this case the new products suit is provided.

During tests we undertake the following types of works:

• An inspection of marking;
• External visual inspection;
• An inspection of completeness (presence of the whistle, carabine, lifting tench);
• Reflecting tape area state and condition check;
• The check of signal light on working capacity;
• Pressure test (0.7 ÷ 14 kPa) according to MSC Circ. 1114;
• Test for buoyancy;
• Cleaning and drying of the suit;
• Maintenance of the zipper;

As soon as the examination is conducted we issue an original certificate of inspection, while the product is marked with the original label.
