Description
The Fathom-X Tether Interface features a USB-B connection on one side and a Binder 770 connector on the other. The USB connection powers the unit and links internally to a USB-to-Ethernet adapter, which connects to the Fathom-X tether interface board. This clean design ensures a seamless connection to the tether via the Binder 770 connector.
The Binder 770 connector supports all 8 wires, accommodating both the slim and standard Fathom tethers. Inside the enclosure, these leads can be reconfigured, allowing the use of an extra twisted pair for devices like the Water Linked Analog Locator or any RS485 communication device.
The enclosure also includes two additional ports that can be used for more Binder 770 connectors. Indicator lights on the top of the unit display power and link status from the Fathom-X board, while the USB-B connector ensures durability during transport and operation.
