Fathom Spool

Featuring an integrated slip ring, it allows up to eight tether wires to remain connected even while the spool rotates. It's designed for quick setup and reliable performance in various conditions, boasting IP67 water resistance for splash-proof operation. A reversible locking handle ensures easy transport.

The Fathom Spool is available in two sizes: a standard version that holds up to 150m of Fathom ROV tether, and a larger version that accommodates up to 300m.

The spool is equipped with an adjustable drag brake for precise control over tether spooling and unspooling. Side panel locks secure the tether during transport.

For easy transportation, the crank handle can be removed with a thumb screw and flipped for locking. The Fathom Spool comes as a semi-assembled kit that’s simple to put together. It features a Binder 770 connector on both ends of the spool, making tether installation straightforward—just plug the tether into the internal Binder 770 connector, attach restraints, and begin spooling! An included 8-meter extension cable connects the outer Binder 770 connector to the FXTI and your computer.
