Electrodes and welding wire

Electrodes and welding wire are indispensable for electric arc welding and are often used in repair and construction works. The electrode acts as a conductor through which the contact with the ionic conductor occurs and an electric current flow passes through it. Electrodes are usually metallic or non-metallic rods made of conductive materials. Most of the electrodes today are consumable electrodes for manual arc welding.

Welding wire is used in automatic or semi-automatic welding in a wide variety of industries.
