Rigid heat-insulating slabs are made on the basis of super-thin basalt fiber in an aluminum foil lining. It is used for insulation of boilers, turbines, tanks, heat exchangers, fireproof thermal and sound insulation of objects, etc.

The service life is over 50 years.

The slabs do not absorb moisture from the air and can be coated with a water repellent solution for water repellency. The slabs are environmentally friendly, resistant to decay and chemical exposure

Description
Mullite-silica fiber veneer MKRP-340 is a durable insulating material and is made of a refractory fiber - mullite-silica composition. It is used to isolate various thermal units with working temperature up to 1150°C. It has a low coefficient of thermal conductivity. Can be cut with a hacksaw into the required shapes, glued or attached to various surfaces. Mind the possible shrinkage of the plates when heated. The boards are durable and do not contain asbestos.
