Self-contained breathing apparatus RHZK 6/30

The work of firefighters and rescue service personnel includes performing duties in extreme conditions, where breathing without special breathing apparatus poses a significant threat to health or is simply impossible. The self-contained breathing apparatus is an isolating respirator that does not require the use of surrounding air for breathing. This protects the respiratory organs of a person from toxic effects at temperatures ranging from -40 to +60 °C. The capabilities of such apparatus will also help ensure safety by protecting the skin, body covering, and eyes from exposure to maximum concentrations of hazardous chemicals.

Application

• The equipment is used as a self-contained breathing apparatus with compressed air in the gear of firefighters.
• The apparatus is not intended for use in accidents involving cargo.
• All air cylinders for breathing apparatus must be interchangeable.

The RHZK 6/30 breathing apparatus consists of the following main components:

• Full-face mask for general use;
• Air supply valve;
• Warning system for residual air using mechanical sound signaling and display devices for pressure measurements in accordance with Res. MSC.339 (91) IMO MSC.1/Circ.1499 as amended;
• Pressure reducer;
• Pressure gauge;
• Shield;
• Compressed air cylinder - RHZK6/30 (capacity: 6 liters);

Regulation (EU) 2020/1170, item No. MED/3.7. SOLAS 74 as amended, Regulation II-2/10 & X/3, 2000 HSC Code 7, FSS Code 3, IBC Code 11, IGC Code 11 and IMO MSC.1/Circ.1499, IMO MSC.1/Circ.1555.
