Description
AFFF 106 is a synthetic, aqueous film-forming fluorine-containing foam concentrate, which is designed for time-saving and extensive firefighting of water-soluble liquids, solid material fires by medium and -low-expansion foam. It has high burn-back resistance. AFFF 106 creates a layer of foam which isolates the oxygen from the source of fire. This foam, by destroying itself, forms a self-sealing duplex aqueous film on non-polar hydrocarbons, which opposes the emission of vapors. These foam concentrates are 100% biodegradable and physiologically safe when used for its designated purpose. The only exception is non-biodegradable C6 fluorinated components.
AFFF 106 Foam concentrate is being serially produced.
Guaranteed shelf life is 10 years.
Field of application: for use to fight non-polar hydrocarbon and solvent fires, solid material fires, plastics, recyclables. It is used in rescue operations at territories, exposed to a high risk of fire hazard, such as: airports, oil platforms, petroleum storage tanks, river and sea vessels, as well as for general usage.
