Description
CO2 fire extinguishers with a rating of 1.4 are designed to extinguish fires involving flammable liquids and molten materials (Class B fires) and fires involving electricity-generating equipment under voltage up to 1000 V (Class C fires), where oxygen is present. These extinguishers use carbon dioxide as the extinguishing agent, which works by rapidly expanding the gas volume and emitting cold. They can be used within a temperature range of -20 °C to +50 °C and have an operational lifespan of 10 years.
