Fire blanket

Smothering blanket is used when water or other liquids cannot be used to extinguish a fire. This primarily applies to extinguishing electrical equipment, gas cylinders or various containers with fuels and lubricants. During welding works, sparks may strike flammable materials. In this case, Fire blanket must be thrown on top of the hearth and thereby block the access of oxygen to it. In the case of a complex shape of the object, you can simply beat out a fire.

1. It is used to extinguish fires of class A, B, E.
2. Prohibited for use in fires that are supported without oxygen (C, D, F).

Fire blanket is made of a rectangular tarpaulin with fire-resistant impregnation, with dimensions 1.4 x 1.8 m. For more convenient handling of the material during use, handles are sewn to it along the edges. Fire blanket does not rot and does not spread fungus when stored in high humidity conditions.
