Thrummed collision mat

Emergency collision mat is used to patch damages or hull breaches with sharp uneven edges. The backbone is a mat, thrummed with a pitch line with a circumference of 75 mm and two layers of stitched canvas patch. The thrum is made of sisal rope-yarn. The patch is laid to the breach with the side on which the thrummed mat is sewn.

 The collision mat is planted using pulley hoists with a lifting capacity of 1 ton (2 sets).
