Description
The VIKING liferaft intended for 20 persons is primarily employed in commercial vessels, fishing vessels, passenger vessels, or offshore installations. This type of liferaft is designed to be thrown overboard or released from its cradle and slides automatically. Once it lands on the water, the liferaft expands after a firm tug of the painter line, making it available for boarding in an instant.
In accordance with SOLAS/MED regulations and the relevant flag state authorization, the liferafts are kept in rigid fiberglass containers, as shown in the attached diagram and approved by DNV. Emergency pack Solas A or B is supplied with the liferaft. The VIKING throw overboard liferaft boasts a long-lasting lifespan of 15-20 years, ensuring its high durability.
