Description
The throw overboard liferaft is designed for use on various types of vessels: commercial, fishing, passenger, etc. The liferaft can accommodate up to 8 people. Certified by the DNV-GL classification society and fully compliant with SOLAS/MED requirements.
The liferaft is put into action by dropping manually or automatically. When it falls down the water, the painter line is pulled and the inflation mechanism is activated. The liferaft is inflated and ready to be boarded.
The liferaft is stored in a rigid fiberglass container according to the attached drawing and approved by the DNV-GL classification society in accordance with the requirements of SOLAS/MED and the appropriate flag state approval. Supplied in a SOLAS A or B emergency pack. The VIKING liferaft is highly durable with an expected service life of 15-20 years.
